HELLO,

I'm Kristin Morgan.

I am a graduate of Tennessee Technological University (TTU), where I received my bachelor of science degree in Sociology with a consideration in Social Work. Currently, I work as an office assistant and supervisor for TTU Campus Recreation until I can obtain employment serving women, children, and victims. During my time at TTU I was able to hon skills in case management, advocacy, interpersonal skills, service coordinating, and research.

My backgrounds in service coordinating, event/program coordinating, customer service, and extensive training in sociology, have prepared me for the social services industry. My passions and drives are charged by my love of diversity and desire to help everyone learn to use their own voice. I am particularly passionate in helping women, children, and victimized populations. As a student I was able to exercise my passions in a verity of outlets by organizing events such as diversity forums, research presentations, activism events, fundraisers, and grant funded speakers, all in my areas of interest. Along with becoming a teaching assistant for a cultural diversity course (see projects.)

I believe that diverse backgrounds and a people centered approach creates a great work place environment, along with the most effective outreach to clients. I would like to continue furthering my career and experiences in the social services industry, influenced by my passions in working with women, children, and victimized populations.
